Anthem of the Apogees
We are the Apogees, humble in our journey.
We believe in Love
We are revolutionaries.
Spiritual Revolutionaries.
We have eternal faith in naturalness.
We eat fruit.
We eat vegetables.
We eat nuts and such.
We aren’t afraid of believing in God.
Because we know we are...

Cinema Blitz 2012
Inspired by the memory of a stellar cinema/film rental space called Facets Cinémathèque, I decided to conduct what I call the Cinema Blitz 2012.
I rented a constant stream of films using the 2-week, 3-DVD-at-a-time free trial that Facets offered and viewed them alone or with others. I started explosively with Kaboom! and ended poignantly with A Separation.
Films I viewed (in alphabetical...

The warmth of this particular January mirrors the warmth in our spirits as we explore the energy of God vibrating within our cells and within ourselves. mirrors the warmth in our interactions making eye contact with brothers and sisters whose irises contain cavernous depths of the essential you. mirrors the shedded petty coats...

Album: Portraits and Scenes (2012)
Artist: Mascara Snake
Portraits and Scenes by Mascara Snake is a furry creature that has curled up into my chest and taken to rest, purring gently, each breath reminding me of the happiness I’ve known.
Whimsical guitar sounds and the minimalist percussion paint portraits of the happenings in and around the artist’s sphere while living in Paris.

It seems as though our capacity for absorbing and appreciating beautiful music has increased exponentially. Maybe our tastes have matured in tandem with our technological capabilities, or maybe our palates yearn for simple loveliness, our...
From My Journal (1/1/2012)
So it’s finally 2012. There is so much that is in flux in this world. If December 2011 is any indication, to put it simply, shit’s gonna be wild. I really do believe this is the year dreams come true. We will all see ourselves actualizing our wildest dreams, tapping into our most potent potential, growing at cataclysmic rates. I believe in these new ideas of interdimensional travel,...

My Bloody Valentine's Loveless (20th Anniversary) →
As someone who Loves nothing more than reading good writing over a cup of coffee, I have developed quite a taste for beautiful music literature. Reviews like the one above, by Aquarium Drunkard’s Scott McDonald, are a rarity. A divinely-inspired record inspired a divinely-inspired live show that inspired a divinely-inspired 20th anniversary review of that experience. This is what...
